Interior Health is holding two more drop-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics next week in Rutland and Big White.

On June 7 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., people who live or work in Rutland and simply walk-up, register and receive a vaccine at Rutland Centennial Park, 190 McIntosh Road. No advance appointment is required. Those who have not yet received their first dose are eligible.

Residents who can’t make the drop-in clinic can still receive the vaccine by booking through the provincial system online.

At Big White on June 8 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., people who live or work at Big White can receive either their first or second dose of the vaccine outside the Clock Tower. No appointment is required.

“In accordance with provincial guidance, anyone who received AstraZeneca as their first dose will be allowed to choose whether they wish to receive a second AstraZeneca vaccine or a Pfizer/Moderna vaccine,” IH said in a news release.
