A Kelowna-based video production agency has done it again.
Last year, One Peak Creative caught the eye of B.C. star Ryan Reynolds with a video about his Aviation Gin.
This time they've caught the eye of big-box store Costco.
Glen Jackson, co-owner of One Peak Creative, tells Castanet: "I've always been a big Costco fan."
So Jackson and his team decided to produce a fun, flattering video featuring the big-box store.
"Since it's all flattering and when we posted it Costco was really excited," Jackson said. "They sent us a message asking if they can use it."
Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Jackson and his team have been specializing in producing ads like this one in just 24 hours.
"At the beginning of the pandemic, everything cancelled for us," Jackson says. "We had a full summer of projects and nothing was able to happen because we couldn't work with models or go to any locations."
As a result, Jackson and his team came up with the idea of producing positive videos, featuring just himself and his co-workers.
The results have paid off.
Jackson now says he has expanded his company to six employees and things have never looked better.
"We definitely took lemons and made lemonade."
